Scottsdale, AZ – June 29, 2016 – Golden Heart Senior Care Scottsdale (GHSC Scottsdale) a non-medical in-home health care provider for seniors, people with special needs and the behavioral communities, announces an increase in Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) positions by end of 2016.
Laurie and Rodney Malone, Master Franchise Owners, purchased the Golden Heart Senior Care Scottsdale master franchise a couple of years ago. Their budding group of more than 50 CNA’s provides a safe, comforting environment for people to age /live in their own homes while maintaining respect and dignity, says Laurie Malone, Managing Partner/CEO. I won’t put anyone in a patient’s home that I wouldn’t put in my parents’ home. As her parents are 93 and 83 years young, she understands the challenges of adult children managing their parents’ care intimately.
The Malone’s believe in hiring and training only the best employees. People respond to a high level of standard of care and owner accountability, says Rodney who oversees the staffing of all new employees. Together we ensure we match our caregivers’ passions with our clients’ best interests. It is a delicate dance to match-make clients and caregiver skills, personalities, all plays a role in ensuring that we meet and exceed client needs, says Rodney.
What has been incredibly rewarding is the rapid growth of our business and we only expect to double that number through the end of the year, says Laurie. With baby boomers turning 65 every day, Laurie doesn’t see a decrease anytime soon. And according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the expected over all outlook through 2024 is a 38% increase (much faster than average). Hospice care, palliative care and transitional care are other key contributors to Golden Heart’s business growth. These are a differentiator as our proprietary software offers follow up visibility for partners in patient care, reducing Medicare readmissions says Laurie. Golden Heart is participating in the East and Central Valley Care Coordination Coalition’s efforts to work with other community partners to improve patient care Valley Wide. These efforts include; hospitals, EMTs, skilled nursing facilities, home health and hospice agencies.
The goal of our business will always be to improve the quality of life for both the patient and the family says this duo team who has also formed partnerships with organizations such as K2 Adventures Foundation and Veterans Care Coordination. Often times, we get calls in the middle of the night requiring our service and that has been a huge differentiator with our patients and their families, says Laurie. We provide supplemental staffing for acute staffing/memory care/acute rehab/group homes and other facilities as well. We are proactive in scheduling interviews so that we are always prepared to provide the caring staff that loved ones require.
